The Irving Moskowitz Foundation contributed $100,000 to help people in tornado-ravaged Oklahoma. The city of Moore, Oklahoma faced crisis on May 20, 2013 when one of the worst tornados destroyed approximately 2,400 homes and killed 51 people. Over 10,000 people were directly affected by the tornado. After hearing about the devastating tornado the struck Oklahoma, the Irving Moskowitz Foundation realized that it was necessary to help in any way possible. The monetary contribution made by the Irving Moskowitz Foundation and Cherna Moskowitz to the Oklahoma Relief Effort will help the Red Cross provide shelter, food, and many other services to the affected families.The Irving Moskowitz Foundation is charitable non-profit organization that is committed to provide aide to the less fortunate.
